Happy New Year
from the New Egypt Primary School!
Welcome to the new year and the second
half of your child’s school year. I hope that the winter break was relaxing and
provided time for your lots of family togetherness. It is winter time and we can
expect chilly temperatures and maybe even some snow! Please remember that we
will be outside for recess as much as possible during these months. If
temperatures are above freezing, and if it is dry outside, we will be on the
playground. Be sure to send your children to school with warm coats, hats, and
gloves so that we can all be comfortable while getting a healthy dose of fresh

Is it possible that September has come
and gone already? We have had a whirlwind of events to mark the opening days of
school here at the Primary School. Our Opening Day Ceremony was filled with blue
skies, bubbles, a song, and a visit from Dr. Jones and Mr. Gately. It was a
lighthearted and positive way to kick off a brand new year!
